🎨 WHERE TO SHOP FOR YOUR HOME OR APARTMENT IN PARIS 🎨

**SECOND-HAND / THRIFT
Emmaüs Neuilly Sur Marne
Emmaüs Neuilly Plaisance
(these are in the eastern suburbs of paris - takes 30/45 minutes from châtelet. these are both fifteen minutes walking from each other, but i think the neuilly sur marne location is bigger + better. it's where i got most of my frames, my orange couch, and my vogue desk)

Emmaüs Riquet (only open Wednesdays and Saturdays during very specific hours. it's quite the warzone in there, but the place is huge and inside of paris)
Emmaüs le 104 (smaller, but more curated. in any case you should check out le 104 cultural center because it's full of people breakdancing, doing acrobatic stunts, performing acting scenes, etc.)

Marché aux Puces Saint-Ouen (a huge "flea" market full of antiques. you can get pretty much the same things at emmaüs for 10x cheaper. this is where i got my €3 cigarette box that holds air)

Marché aux Fleurs | Île de la Cité (this is a big market in the center of paris where i got most of my plants. the gardeners here are super helpful and even gave me their personal Instagrams to reach out in case my plants started dying due to the conditions of my apartment)

** REGULAR
Ikea Madeleine (where i got my "morgedal" firm mattress)
Zara Home (where i got a nice office calendar three months ago and still haven't written on it)
H&M Home (cheap candles, decent bed sheets, bath towels, etc.)
HEMA (this store truly has everything. i got most of my smaller items like scissors, tape, lighters, etc. here)

Truffaut (a large garden center)

Leroy Merlin (one of those big home improvement chains where i feel completely lost)

BHV & Les Galeries Lafayettes (big Macy's-like department stores that will break the bank, but have nice home interiors)
