In this clip, Mario talked passionately about his late grandmother and how much of an anchor she was for his family. He then went on to discuss his start in music dating back to his mom noticing he could sing at 4 years old to being signed to J Records at the age of 14. He also talked about being adopted by music producer Troy Patterson at 11 and how that changed his life.
Mario even revealed that his hit record, "Just a Friend," was intended for Usher before he passed on it.
