What wires and knockouts to use on a Rinnai external V and RL series tankless.

This is one of the most asked questions I get on wiring an external Rinnai V or RL series tankless heaters.
First the hole that the small black and white wires are sticking out of is to small for our standard electrical fittings and must ne reamed out. This can be done with a step bit.
Second the ground is very important on a Rinnai heater and must be connected to the bottom left hand side of the metal frame LOOK FOR THE GROUND SYMBLE
.I like to use a pigtail on my tankless heaters so is they want to use a generator to operate the unit after a power outage it very simple to do.
I use 16AWG 2 wire 6' long for my plug I install a wire crimp on open end blue to connect my ground.
Use a cable connecter 1/2" to connect the plug to the knockout on the tankless.
