The Netherlands has built an amazing bicycle network all over the country, and we wanted to highlight that you don't need to be a city the size or density of Amsterdam to support and justify a useful bicycle network!

We didn't award points for every neat thing we encountered, and same for deducting points. After the first few protected intersections (or noisy scooters), we try to focus on new things.

We hope you like this view into bicycling in the Netherlands beyond Amsterdam!
