BACK FROM THE BRINK: EASTERN QUOLLS RETURN TO THE WILD!

Aussie Ark has transferred and released five endangered Eastern Quolls into a feral-proof sanctuary in Booderee National Park on the NSW South Coast, as part of a longterm collaboration with the Booderee National Parks & Wildlife Service and Traditional Owners of the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community.

The five quolls were born and bred in our famous insurance population in our Species Recovery Unit, and 'hardened' for the wild in our Barrington Tops Wildlife Sanctuary.

Post release monitoring has shown the animals adapted perfectly to their new environment, and are even pairing up and breeding! This stunning result highlights yet again the success of Aussie Ark's breeding and re-wilding model, which is designed to do more than simply breed endangered animals - it prepares them for a life in the wild.

Every Eastern Quoll returned to the wild represents years of dedication, specialised care and significant investment. This tax time, Aussie Ark is calling on Australians to support the next generation of conservation success stories through a tax-deductible donation before 30 June.

Because extinction isn't inevitable — and every animal returned to the wild proves it.
