3D Printing Lawsuits - Just3DPrint(It) vs Stratasys, TechCrunch, and others

Thanks to Joel Telling for making us aware of this situation. Did TechCrunch, Stratasys's, and other's journalistic reporting about Just3DPrintIt consist of defamation? Did, as Just3DPrintIt claims, they lose money because of the things said by these news outlets. So far Judge Marsha H Neifiled says yes to one, no to the other. But is the case being presented taking into account the community? And does this ruling mean that others can do the same as Just3DPrintIt did in the future, violating copyright without regard to the content creators desires? I go on public record to testify for the community.
