In this video, we’re going to quickly talk about how you can create a gradient background in Photoshop in the easiest way. First, you’ll start by using the Quick Selection Tool to select the object you want to keep in the image. After you’ve made your selection, simply copy and paste the subject onto a new layer. You can either delete the original background or keep it if you want, depending on the effect you're aiming for. Once that’s done, you’ll need to rasterize the layer by double-clicking on it, which allows you to make further edits.

After rasterizing, you’ll go into the Layer Style options by double-clicking the layer and selecting Gradient Overlay. Here, you can pick any gradient you like from the options available. For example, you might choose a range of blues or any other color combination that fits your design. Once you apply the gradient, you’ll see that the background beautifully transitions between the colors you've selected, giving your image a fresh and dynamic look.
