2001-2005 Honda Civic P0740 Part 1

We got a check engine light on this 2001 Honda Civic lx 4 cylinder. The code is P0740 which indicates a Torque Converter Clutch circuit malfunction. Here is an overview of what we did. There is many possible causes of this, so we are starting with the minimum services, such as draining the transmission fluid and inspecting the solenoid mesh strainer if its dirty.
