About Speaker:
Dr. Anindya Bandyopadhyay is a genome editing specialist and presently leading the Synthetic biology and Genome editing program in Reliance industries ltd. Previously he worked as the Global Genome editing program lead for Syngenta. He was also a faculty and group leader of the Molecular Biology in International Rice Research Institute, Philippines.
Anindya did his PhD from IRRI followed by postdoctoral training in the University of California Berkeley and University of Kentucky in the field of Plant molecular biology , genome editing and virology.
He has published many research papers, reviews and book chapters. He is also serving as a reviewer in many renowned International journals.
