Human Organs Found left behind in Abandoned Morgue - inside East St. Louis Hospital. St. Mary's was opened as a 30 bed facility in 1890 and was added to over the years. It was eventually renamed Kenneth Hall Regional Hospital after a local Politician. As services and population declined the hospital began losing 5 million Dollars a year. The hospital requested state hospital board approval to close. On the day they shut the doors forever the air conditioning didn't even work. We found bio-hazardous materiel left behind in the basement near the morgue scattered all over a hallway. It begs many questions. This is one of the craziest creepiest Urbex adventures we have had. This is one of the top 10 scariest things we have found. Abandoned everything left behind and frozen in time. I kept getting the feeling that this building was haunted. We saw apparitions of misty smoke rising from the floor and disappearing. Are these ghosts haunting this creepy abandoned building? Or, are is there anther explanation.
