Microbiological sterilization of PET bottles for hygienic beverage filling

Microbiologically impeccable bottles are essential when it comes to hygienic beverage filling. This is why with the InnoPET BloFill preform sterilization system KHS provides a sterilization unit integrated into the stretch blow molder for the sterile production of your products.

In this unit the preforms of your later bottles are first sterilized using a mixture of H2O2 and hot air. The preforms are then heated according to a precisely defined heating profile in the stretch blow molder heater and passed through a tunnel flushed with sterile air to the blow wheel. The finished bottle is also conveyed to the filler in a blanket of sterile air in the protected transfer area so that during the entire preform and bottle run there is effective protection against recontamination.
