Chase's wish to meet Jeff Skinner (Carolina Hurricanes)

The Carolina Hurricanes and Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina teamed up to grant Chase's wish to meet his favorite hockey player, Jeff Skinner. Chase, who has a rare cancer, was able to watch the Hurricanes practice, meet the team and coaching staff, tour the locker room, and play street hockey with Jeff Skinner and teammates. Carolina Hurricanes general manager Ron Francis promptly signed Chase to a free agent contract after scoring 9 goals in the street hockey game.
