Toryn & Captive Portal are back with a cover of the theme song from the anime, “Seraph of the End.”

“X.U.” is Toryn’s favorite anime opening theme song. When the idea to cover this song was presented to Captive Portal, we knew this song was special. We are excited to present our own spin on this song for the 10th anniversary of the TV series.

This cover takes the AmaLee (@LeeandLie) version of the song and makes it darker and heavier. This electronic rock cover contains many influences such as industrial, 90s rave, cinematic sounds, EDM synths, and metal breakdowns.

Big thanks to the anime artist Shine for turning us into the main characters from the show.
