Locomotive Scrapyard: NRE Silvis Drone Flyover

On November 7th, 2020, I visited National Railway Equipment's Silvis facility to fly my drone over the locomotives on the property. In August 2020, NRE announced that they would be closing Silvis by Spring 2021. I knew I had to visit the site before everything was gone. In this video, you will see drone footage of the whole facility, which includes dozens of old engines, many of which are in fallen flag paint schemes such as Wisconsin Central, Conrail, and Southern Pacific!
