CYCLING INTO UKRAINE: From Romania, Moldova & Transnistria

Here, for the first time ever, is the never-before-seen footage from my 2012 bike tour across Romania, Moldova, Transnistria and Ukraine.

This is the first of several videos I'm going to be releasing over the coming days about my previous bicycle touring adventures in Ukraine.

I love Ukraine! - It's one of my favorite countries in the world; I have dozens of friends that call Ukraine home; and I have cycled across the country on two previous occasions.

In this video you will see old footage from my 2012 bike tour across Eastern Europe. I started in Istanbul, Turkey and then cycled from there, through Bulgaria, Romania and Moldova before reaching Transnistria (the Russian-backed breakaway state located between Moldova and Ukraine) and then cycling my way into Ukraine.

Most of this video was shot in Romania, but you will get to see small parts of Moldova, Transnistria and Ukraine as well. Then, stay tuned for my next video, which will be 100% about my bicycle touring adventures in Ukraine during the winter of 2012. Stay tuned!
