𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝟯𝟬𝟰 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Bandung to Jakarta, operated by a Fokker F-27 Friendship (Reg. PK-YPM) on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟳, 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟳.

The plane departed Bandung at 11:46. Shortly after takeoff the aircraft developed engine trouble; smoke was seen emitting from one of the engines. The crew tried to make an emergency landing at Sulaiman Airbase runway 13, but the plane clipped roofs and a wall of a housing complex and crashed into a muddy field. The plane broke up and caught fire.

20 occupants were rescued while 28 others were killed, including all 5 crew members. All occupants were Indonesian citizens except for one passenger from Singapore.
