Saturday Night at the Movies - SNIPER and BAT 21

There’s trouble in the jungle this Saturday night with two action-packed movies - SNIPER and BAT 21.

Up first at 8p ET is the 1993 movie SNIPER. Tom Berenger plays Master Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Beckett, a Marine sniper who loses his friend and spotter in a risky mission.His new partner is S.W.A.T. sharpshooter Richard Miller (Billy Zane),who has no combat experience or training in the jungle. Though there is tension between the two, they must deal with rebel leaders who use torture against their enemies in the dangerous jungles of Central America.

Then stay with us at 10:15p for 1998’s BAT 21. Gene Hackman plays Lt. Colonel Hambleton, a career soldier who's used to calling the shots from behind a desk. His plane is shot down behind enemy lines in Vietnam, and he must figure out a way to survive in the jungle. He manages to establish radio contact with Bird-Dog (Danny Glover), an Air Force pilot who makes it his mission to save his stranded comrade.
