We headed down to @germandonerkebabuk on the high street to have our first try of this new vegan friendly menu option.
Having seen a few people post about it, it looked really yummy but no vegan options…until now! 🙌🏽

We went on #meatlessmonday and were impressed by the plant-based chicken, the flavours of the seasoning and freshness of the salad, and huge portion sizes.

The gorgous waffle bread crunchy & toasted yet soft & fluffy inside really held all the filling, salad and sauces well. And they are really generous with all their sauces too and lovely staff here too.

A shoutout to the store manager of Sheffield, Ritika who was really helpful in checking what was suitable and made sure we had a great experience.

We tried the pb doner box w/salad & plain fries with curry seasoning added.
And a pb doner kebab with mini hash browns all washed down with a nice (glass bottle) of cola zero for extra refreshment.
It was all hot, tasty snd fresh and extremely generous portions and fresh delicious salad too!
Only negative for me really was as a vegan that they don’t have any vegan mayo or hummus and ice/cups for the drinks but all are served cold and straws are available too.
Lots of comfy seating and no where near as chaotic as other chains on the highstreet 😮‍💨thankfully when we visited in the afternoon at least!
Treat yourself to a plant-based doner kebab 🥙 this December or for veganuary next month.. it’s ideal for vegans, plant-based, vegetarians, flexitarians or anyone cutting back on their meat consumption!
