New Year / End 2023 Update! Focused on Career & Protecting Family - Teaching My Son Gun Safety!

Just been getting myself together the last 2 months! New career has been very demanding and the training sucks. That’s why most new guys I hear end up quitting already.. 🫤. I feel bad. If I didn’t have all the experience I already have in this field as well as my license… I would most likely quit as well!

Lot of early days and late nights! With the record being last thurs, arrived home at 2:30am 🤷🏼‍♂️…

There’s two sides to the job for an install tech you need to know the products and how to install things physically, as well as programming and all that. and then there’s all the ATT added stuff like the mobile tech app that you have to use throughout the day that tells you if you’re on the way to a job and what the invoices and everything that a secretary usually did at my last job, so I have to do now… and the sales guys who initially set up these tickets and jobs for us usually aren’t skilled like a technician who’s been in the field so they don’t know exactly what they’re looking at all the time .. it makes things extremely difficult when you arrive at a job and do the walk-through and you hear one thing and it’s different from what you have on the slip and you just have to re-figure everything out. I was supposed to be trained when I was out at the Boston office. That’s the office I got hired at thankfully I was transferred to a different office that’s closer to my house but the jobs are still far away anyways but it’s much much better! Definitely a lot of driving. I debated uploading daily videos or some thing because literally every customer I’ve had to deal with in the last month or two has been crazy situation, a character drama some thing and I told a couple other guys there and be perfect for a reality show! they just all laughed, and totally agreed with that😆. So yeah, the Boston manager all he cares about is speed and percentages and having his text go fast cause it’ll make him look good too but there’s no training that’s like put on the back burner even other technicians said just try and stick it out especially if you’re experienced like I am you’re just gonna be calling people all the time when you have issues and you’re gonna have to figure it out on your own. That’s what some of the other guys had to do as well unfortunately. So when I asked, how are the other few guys that I met up there that got hired like a week or two after me how are they doing? … and they just said they’re gone already 🫤

But with all that said, it’s still a good place to work. Most of the good technicians have been here 15 years 20 years some of them 30 years just goes to show that it’s still a good job if you just have to deal with a lot of crap at times.

Still haven’t forgotten about my car. I went out and looked at it today and fell in love with it all over again it’s great just knowing I have it out there and I’m definitely going to start getting ready to save to put some money into it in the next couple months! so look out for those videos .

meanwhile, I am just having some fun with weapons, especially in this state, which makes everything extremely difficult and prices are much higher, and things are harder to get… there are some loopholes if you know the ins and outs to do things legally, still. so it’s good to have connections with X Marines, or some police officers or be close with the gun shop owners etc etc. because I’m actually not against strict gun laws I think it’s a good thing. I wish every state made the classes mandatory because I see so many horror stories and videos of states that barely have any rules. Lots of them are down south .. and I hate to make the connection with the down south being dumber slower type of people. In School we used to say the inbred‘s are down there ..
😆
But a lot of the stuff you see, like family is having kids accidentally firing guns in their home, and the father going to retrieve it and he fires the weapon to and they just look like sloppy addict type folks. It makes responsible gun owners look bad. Long story short.

But that’s all for now. Look forward to some updates. God bless please be safe specially tonight I’m staying in it’s not always you that will endanger yourself or get into an accident. It’s the other people who are on the road right now that don’t have the same values as you And they could end up screwing up and take your life drinking and driving or something.. not worth it!
