Unboxing Prince's High-Heeled Shoes at Paisley Park @ MOA

We're putting the finishing touches on our new space at Mall of America, Paisley Park @ MOA! Our Museum Collections Lead, Makayla, unboxes one of the collection pieces that will be on view (not for purchase) at our MOA spot - a striking pair of custom black pumps made for Prince by LA-based shoemaker Andre #1. Prince had a pair of shoes to match nearly every outfit, and the heels were reinforced with steel brackets to withstand the strain of dancing, doing the splits, and jumping off pianos during his legendary performances.
