This is your USD News Minute.

A celebration to welcome football head coach Brandon Moore to the USD community is being held on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Paseo de Colachis. Moore is the former head coach of Colorado School of Mines where he took the team to the NCAA Division II Championship Game for the first time. Come join the campus-wide celebration!

The School of Law held a forum on Warren Distinguished Professor of Law Orly Lobel’s book, "The Equality Machine". The event included leaders from academia and business including USD professors, the CMO of Qualcomm and UCSD Management professor Marta Garcia.

USD is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the 38th Annual Linda Vista Multi-Cultural Fair and Parade this Saturday, April 29. The Mulvaney Center along with other campus partners such as the USD legal Clinics, the Hahn School of Nursing and our student athletes will be in attendance this year connecting with our community. Everyone is invited to enjoy cultural exhibits, food and performances at this free event from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. between Comstock and Ulric just right up the road from USD. Dean Kimberly White-Smith from SOLES will speak at the Opening Ceremony.
