RACING The RAIN! (Will We Get This Done?) Off Grid, Alaska

We are almost finished framing in our shop roof and just in time too. In the summer the pass is a stormy place where it rains almost every day. But we absolutely love it! It is wild and wonderful and creates some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable.

This week we had some wonderful company. Our son Dylan and his bride Mai are here helping us on the project. They are getting married in August, and plan to have their wedding here at the lake! We are so excited, but there is so much to do to get everything ready. We will be sure to give you a front row seat to this wonderful, family celebration!
