Alexa has cancer and is played by Paris Berelc and her best friend Katie is played by Isabel May. The show also features Emery Kelly as Alexa's brother and Paris Berelc's real life boyfriend, Jack Griffo, as Alexa's love interest in the series. You may also recognize Jack Griffo from The Thundermans. A few of the other actors in the series include Jolie Jenkins, Eddie Shin, Finn Carr, Tiffani Thiessen, Iman Benson, Merit Leighton, Kerri Medders, & Ricky Garcia (from Forever in Your Mind). Alexa and Katie was created by Heather Wordham and Matthew Carlson was the showrunner.
