We stumbled across this gem of a trail as we were shooting for the Sparta Elroy Trail in Wisconsin and so glad we did.

The paved trail winds through a small valley and follows the Root River. The trail passes through small quaint towns, by a small dam with waterfall, and over rail bridges

Take your meals with you as there are many picnic areas on the trail or stop in the towns and grab a bite to eat at any one of the many restaurants or a grocery stores

Bad weather and compromised health put us there an extra week so we could try to get as much put together to show others this dream come true.
