Facelift is a cosmetic procedure that improves the visible signs of aging. So this is considered as a daycare surgery morning admission and evening discharge. Roughly we take around 4 to 5 hours to complete the procedure. They will be discharged at same day evening. There will be some dressing done maybe the plasters around the face and the chin strap some pressure garment for the face will be given. So they need to wear this pressure garment for next 1 to 2 weeks time. They can have food from same day evening. So post operatively they will have some minimal pain which is controlled with painkillers they will have some swelling which reduces very gradually over a period of like 2 to 3 weeks or 1 month time. So they need to be in indoor at home for next maybe 1 to 2 weeks time because of some swelling there. So there will be some stitches done there are very fine stitches which we always keep it in the hidden area fine stitches are remote after 1 week they can have the soft diet from same day evening. They can have the normal body bath from next day but face wash and the headbath can be resumed after one week time. Some swelling reduces very gradually within a month's time uh they can go out from after 2 weeks onwards they can resume that major physical activities like gym activities after 1 and half to 2 months time final facelift results are appreciated by the end of 2 to 3 months.
