The Ultimate Guide To Learning Hardanger Embroidery | Beginners guide to Hardanger
Here is a complete guide to getting in to Hardanger embroidery! I take you from a quick overview of the technique to the fabrics and threads used for it. Then I show the the four main stages of Hardanger embroidery; Kloster blocks, cutting the treads, woven bars and decorative stitches. 28 count evenweave Cashel 100% linen
DMC Coton Perlé No, 8 and No.12 (in colours of your choice!)
Tapestry needles 26 and 24
Ring frame (optional; you can work this technique in your hand if you prefer)
Sharp pair of embroidery scissors
