Patient with a Patent Foramen Ovale
This patient had a history of migraine headaches but following a stroke she was recommended for a cardiac workup. The echocardiogram reveals a left to right flow across the interatrial septum by colorflow Doppler in the apical 4 chamber view. The pattern was also confirmed in the subcostal 4 chamber.
