About the Release:
The debut collection from Lazes. Protagonist is the companion piece to Antagonist. While the first track explores the internal struggle of wanting to be left alone in the dark, Protagonist is told from the perspective of the partner, the "hero" who refuses to give up. It captures the exhausting, beautiful, and desperate effort of trying to save someone who isn't sure they want to be saved.

Together, these songs map out the tension between two people caught in the same storm, seen from opposite sides.
