LNER | East Coast Upgrade

Planned engineering works will cause significant disruption to our services this Christmas with no trains to or from London King’s Cross for six days. Further unavoidable disruption will occur until at least June 2021.

Passengers are advised to not travel to or from London King’s Cross between Christmas Day and Wednesday 30 December (inclusive) and should avoid travel until at least Monday 4 January.

There will be further disruption to our services with a nine-day restriction between Grantham and Peterborough in January, multiple Friday and weekend closures of London King’s Cross, and a three month period from March - June where capacity at the station will be significantly reduced.
