Right now (September 2020) Eve Online is free to play and has a fantastic New Player introduction experience. You can download Eve and play for free with no real downside. I would recommend you take you time though, there is a lot to learn!

Eve Online is a brilliant game with an incredible amount of depth. In this video I break down some of the gameplay elements and explain why you might want to give it a try.
