After the second son of Their Majesties King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck of Bhutan was born on 19 March 2020, and the first photo collection was released in early June. The Bhutanese Royal House released the statement that the baby Prince has been given the name “Jigme Ugyen Wangchuck”. However, the Prince will be referred as “His Royal Highness Prince Ugyen Wangchuck of Bhutan”. The Bhutanese Royal Court refers the title “Gyalsey” which is used for the son of the current Monarch. The term is mixed between the words “Gyal” which means King, and “Sey” which means “Prince”.
