The Taylor Sound is famous for its modern, articulate, balanced sound. Master luthier Andy Powers recognized that while the Taylor tonal palette is distinct, it's not for everybody. Inspired by the acoustic sounds from the Laurel Canyon scene of the '60s and '70s that Andy heard while growing up in Southern California, the Grand Pacific boasts a sound that's warmer, rounder, and more substantial on the bottom.
