Watch again: Rwanda marks 30th anniversary of genocide
Rwandan President Paul Kagame and first lady Jeanette Kagame, light the Rwandan genocide flame of hope, known as the "Kwibuka" (Remembering), to commemorate the 1994 Genocide at the Kigali Genocide in Gisozi.
The mass killings, spanning from April to July in 1994, claimed the lives of over a million people.
