While the first two games were developed by Remedy, Max Payne 3 was developed by Rockstar Games. Now when a property changes hands, no matter how good the receiving party may be... most of the times the upcoming entry is bound to be disappointing. But Max Payne 3 is a perfect example that proves that that is not always the case.

With it's great gritty noir type storytelling, super immersive atmosphere & gameplay that is satisfying on a completely different level, Max Payne 3 has aged like fine wine almost 9 years after its original release in 2012. The game does have it's problems & being as unbiased as I am, I point them out as well in this review. So by the end of this video you will have the answer to the question "Should You Buy Max Payne 3 in 2021?". But in my opinion it is not just one of the best third person shooters ever made, but one of the best games ever in general.

I love Max Payne 3 & I am glad I decided to play it again in 2021. This game's systems walked so that GTA V can run. So it's a shame that this awesome game so underrated. Max Payne 3 is the epitome of third person shooters & it is the most underrated Rockstar game.

All the Max Payne 3 gameplay was recorded on PC & is my own. I chose the perfect time to make this video as the Max Payne series just celebrated it's 20th anniversary.
