Myrdals Glacier Ice Cave Tour (Katla Volcano, Iceland)

We learned a tremendous amount from our guide at the constantly evolving glacier ice cave atop Katla Volcano. The black on the ice is volcanic ash from hundreds and thousands of years ago, layered on from volcanic eruptions. This particular cave will not be here if you come to visit, but a new one will have formed nearby.
