Introduction
This is the Omega Seamaster Diver 300m reference: 210.30.42.20.06.001. A few of my watch friends know that this sits at the top of my watch short list. Once i get this seamaster, it will sit in this Midnight Blue Mirage Watch Roll that conveniently matches the silver and blue mottif of the watch. Before i get carried away again into talking about this seamaster, let me tell you how this watch roll can ultimately lead me to buying this omega. *whisper its all part of the plan...

History And Specifications
* Let's spend a brief moment to talk about Mirage the company before diving into the watch roll. Its a california based company that specializes in producing high quality watch storage at an affordable pricepoint.
* Ralph and Juvy, founders of the company, built the company when Ralph found that most of the watch rolls for watch enthusiasts are either severely overpriced or lacks the quality we deserve.
* The whole watch roll dimensions are 9.5 x 4 x 2.8 inches.
* The inside compartments measure in at 2.4 x 2.8 x 3.5 inches
* Poly Urithene leather covers the whole exterior with a deep blue color tone.
* Inside its lined and protected in grey suede material.
* Finally there are little metal buttons that accent spice up the design for a little bit of interest.

Hands-On
* The quality and solid feel of the case makes it desirable to be displayed on your desk more than stored in a bag.
* When handling the case, the leather texture provides a luxurious feeling and holds its shape rather well when opening the case. I just love running my fingers on this suede inner lining which is also used for the pillows.
* The pillow is soft and and wide enough even for larger diameter watches.
* The softer parts can really contract significantly to accomodate smaller wrist bands like mine. The tab is positioned in a way so that the whole pillow is pushed back into the case giving enough clearance for your watch crystals against the case wall.
* Even with the pillows removed, the case holds its shape solidly and gives you a clear view of the inside being completely covered with this soft fabric.
* dropping your watches into the case is a pleasant experience. The watches virtually does not touch any of the outer lining of the case when in this storage position. You can even give it a fair shake and it will still hold its place.
* Its quick and easy to slide your watches in. The pillows just fall into its slot. No fuss, no extra buttons to secure nor straps to wrap around the roll. Just close the cover and snap all the buttons up and you're ready to go. The case just holds it shape, providing you with the peace of mind when carrying timepieces, regardless of which position its in.
* The buttons that mirage used requires a deliberate push to open. you also dont need to worry about these buttons hitting your watches. They're all carefully positioned in between the pillows. The leather cover also provides enough retention to prevent the buttons from dropping too far. Thats nice enough already but the good folks from Mirage also throws in a soft velvet bag that further protects your watch roll. That quite a bit of value that we dont typically see on some higher end cases.
