Dillard the Cat -- Massage, November 27, 2018

The Cat:
I am Dillard. I am 15 years old. I have been a happy and healthy cat my whole life. In April 2017 I was diagnosed with small cell lymphoma and responded effectively to chemotherapy. My human takes good care of me. He rubs my body. He plays with me. He makes me feel good. I am still a happy and healthy cat.
UPDATE: On September 18, 2018, I had a follow up with my oncologist. My ultrasound revealed a malignant progression of my lymphoma. I'm on chemotherapy again. I'm doing just fine!

The Human:
I am Lon. I am a Small Animal Massage Therapist, Acupressurist, and Reiki Master. I have been working with veterinarians for the past 14 years. I adopted Dillard at 7 months old while I was in massage school. He became one of my practice animals and the benefits were immediately observable. My work on him has been especially supportive during this stage of his life. My intention is to keep Dillard as healthy and comfortable as possible for as long as possible.
