Glazing Vision hinged VisionVent secured by design glass roof undergoing attack testing at the Building Research Establishment to LPS2081 Issue 1:2015.
This part of the test is focussed on attempts to force open the secured by design glass roof which ultimately results in failure due to dual locking mechanisms hidden within the frame.
Changes to the Building Regulations have introduced Approved Document Q: Security in Dwellings meaning that any rooflight deemed to be installed in 'easily accessible areas' must be fully security tested and part Q compliant.
