$400 vs. $2,000 Jazz Guitar - Part 2

Due to the overwhelming amount of comments and attention that my video from two years ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wO5jCD_7GwI) has received, I've decided to produce a follow-up. This comparison will be much more detailed with better sound quality, flatwound strings, and will offer a bit of my own insight as to how I've learned to use these guitars since filming the initial video. I will also be answering a lot of the common questions asked in the comments section of that video. Today we're looking at the Eastman AR810 with a Kent Armstrong floating 12-pole PAF pickup and a stock Ibanez AF71F. The Eastman features solid wood with Maple back and sides, a Spruce top, Ebony fingerboard, and a Maple neck. The Ibanez used laminate Maple wood for the back, sides, and top. The fingerboard is Rosewood and the neck is Mahogany. Just like the Eastman, it also features a floating pickup and bridge, however the lower bout on the Ibanez is 16" while the Eastman is 17". These are a few differences that are largely influenced by price. You won't find Ebony, solid wood construction, a larger design, or great mechanical pieces on a more affordable guitar like the Ibanez. All in all, the guitars themselves are very similar and what we are listening for in this video are the differences you get in tone for your money.
