After being tracked down and cursed by Captain Lancaster, Diana is pursued by something terrifying. Greg and Meg break down the plot, Easter eggs and references in Episode 8, "Jig-a-Bobo".

In Episode 8 of Lovecraft Country, the community mourns after the murder of young Emmett Till, who was Diana "Dee" Freeman's best friend. Captain Lancaster tracks down Diana after one of her hand drawn comics was left behind by Hippolyta in Mayfield. He then places a curse on her, which causes her to be followed by two creepy dancing demonic spirits that want to kill her.

Meanwhile, Atticus (Jonathan Majors) needs Christina's help to cast a spell, and Ji-ah (Jamie Chung) visits Leti's house looking for Tic, and Ruby and Leti (Jurnee Smollett) finally talk about their shared knowledge of magic.
