Steve Price slams Chris Bowen as a ‘deranged zealot’
Saturday Herald Sun Columnist Steve Price says Energy Minister Chris Bowen seems like a “deranged zealot” after his expensive renewable push.
“Running around, driving electric cars and patting his hand on top of solar panels,” Mr Price said.
Mr Bowen announced a new program to increase the bankrolling – by taxpayers – of new renewable energy projects from six gigawatts to 32 gigawatts – roughly half the total generation capacity in the National Energy Market.
“Why did no one say to him today: what’s this going to cost?
“Don’t you have to come clean to the public at some point?”
