"Dance Monkey" has topped the charts in over 30 countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, and peaked within the top ten in many other European and Asian countries. It is the first charting single for Tones and I in the United States.

'Dance Monkey' broke the record for 'Most Consecutive Weeks at Number 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart in November 2019.

At the 2019 ARIA Music Awards, Tones & I won the awards for Best Female Artist, Breakthrough Artist and Best Pop Release. Tones & I were also nominated for Song of the Year, Video of the Year; as well as Best Independent Release for her debut album 'The Kids are Coming'.

Tones & I made her US TV debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in November 2019.
