In the video, I show how to clean an electronic throttle body on my Cadillac STS and Cadillac Escalade. I use throttle body and air-intake cleaner from CRC to cut through the built-up carbon on both.

For best results take your car throttle off the intake manifold and disconnect from wire harness. Then spray CRC throttle body cleaner on the throttle in a well-ventilated area while wiping with a clean towel. Repeat until you have a clean shine.

If your car is shifting funny you might want to change the TPS ( Throttle position sensor) and if your car is idling high or low you might want to change the IAC (Idle air control valve)
