Three Coaches Of Ujjaini Express Derail In Rishikesh, Safety Probe Ordered

Three coaches of the Ujjaini Express derailed during a shunting operation near Yog Nagari Railway Station in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, around 9:30 pm on Monday. Railway officials confirmed the train was empty and no injuries were reported. Northern Railway said restoration work began immediately, while an investigation has been ordered into the cause, with preliminary findings pointing towards a possible brake failure during maintenance.

Officials from the Moradabad Division of Northern Railway stated that railway staff worked continuously to restore normal operations.
