Stunning Lake Superior Elopement | Marquette MI

We've been dreaming about Madi and Josh's wedding since before it even happened. This was one of those jobs for us where Brittany, Sophia, and I looked around at each other and said "I can't believe this is how we're spending a work day."

The wedding weekend started with a little adventure. Together the 5 of us hiked around Wetmore Landing in Marquette, Michigan, to a beautiful rock formation that jutted out into Lake Superior. We snapped some photos along the way and then gave Made and Josh some space to take time and write their vows together while they took in the moment and reminisced on their relationship, preparing for the big day ahead. The golden hour sunlight up north hits different, and we were so excited by what we were able to capture that evening, the we put together a quick video teaser and sent it to them the following morning. I'd say it helped start the wedding day on the right foot.

The wedding day could not have been better. From a morning workout and prep together, to an intimate and personal ceremony on the lakeshore, to a cliff jump into the nice and cold lake superior as the sun set, Josh and Madi chose to make it their own. We loved getting to capture this day and we're going to be remembering this one for a long time to come!
