_____________

Ok so this is bad ass. This past weekend on the Forge Your Potential Podcast, we were able to sit down with an individual who's walking from Waco Texas to Portland Oregon. For those like us who didn't know how far that is… it's over 2,000 miles. On a normal day, that'd be one hell of a trek, but this guy!? He's doing it in the dead of winter, with sub-zero temperatures, sleeping at hotels when he can and pitching up a tent when he can't. This is real and bad ass as it gets. But why?

Being a US Army veteran, he's doing this walk to raise money and also awareness for various veteran organizations and veterans themselves. Setting off with a $10,000 Go Fund Me goal, he's cleared $5,000 in donations. These donations will go straight to various veteran organizations to help the men and women who have given everything in service of our country.

He shared on the podcast what this journey has meant for him, a few stories of the amazing strangers out there that have helped along the way, and number of other hilarious and eye opening experiences. It's an honor to be a part of such an amazing story, and an even greater honor to be able to share it with you. What's really cool, is it doesn't have to stop there. You can be a part of this story as well. Donate to the Go Fund Me effort (link below), share the Go Fund Me effort on social media, show your friends and family, what ever it takes. Together, we can meet and exceed Chance's $10,000 goal.

Today is the day.
