How to Tie the Most Useful Knot in the World - The Bowline

In this short video, I will show you how to tie the Bowline in 3 different ways. This will also include the Cowboy Bowline and the Dutch Bowline.

The Bowline is a particularly useful loop knot as it will not slip when under load and is also very strong. The Bowline is also relatively easy to undo when it has been under strain.

The "True" Bowline has the working end terminating within the actual loop, where as the Dutch Bowline or Cowboy Bowline the working end terminates on the outside of the loop.

There seems to be a lot of debate as to the benefits and strengths of the Bowline over the Dutch Bowline.
