Renato Carosone (Naples, January 3, 1920 - Rome, May 20, 2001) was one of the most important Italian singers of Neapolitan song, and one of the main interpreters of pop music of the postwar period. The song Maruzzella was composed by Renato Renato Carosone with lyrics by Enzo Bonagura and appeared on the album Carosello Carosone (1955).
