Soap Making With My Mom (A Beginners Step By Step Soap Making Tutorial+ Recipe Included)

Hello everyone! This week we did a little something different. I have had a few requests now for a beginner's step by step soap making tutorial. This video is a beginning to end process of how to make soap from scratch. This was my mom's first time ever making cold process soap, so I thought it would make a great beginners video to have her make soap for the first time, so you could see what that process looks like.
My mom is an expert Whole Foods Plant Based Cook. She is also an expert bread maker (YUM)! It was important to my mom to create a loaf of soap that was both vegan and palm free. She also is a huge fan of rose and patchouli essential oils. She has used those for as long as I can remember. So, we took these elements and created a very moisturizing, vegan and palm free soap that smells like patchouli and rose.

Recipe: This recipe makes two pounds of soap
Sodium Hydroxide lye: 3.09 ounces
Rose Tea Ice Cubes: 6.91 ounces
Avocado Oil: 5 ounces
Olive Oil: 7 ounces
Castor Oil: 1 ounce
Coconut Oil (76 degrees) 3 ounces
Shea Butter: 3 ounces
Grapeseed Oil 3 ounces
1 ounce Rose Absolute (diluted in jojoba oil)
1/2 ounce of patchouli essential oil
1/2 teaspoon titanium dioxide dispersed in water
1 teaspoon pink vibrance mica
