Rehabilitation After Stroke: Kinesio Taping
Kinesio Taping has many potentially therapeutic benefits when used along with other therapies. This video shows a clinical application of kinesio taping to the hand following a stroke. Kinesio taping can be used to assist a motion and provide sensory input. It also is used to minimize edema by reducing pressure and lifting the skin, allowing fluid to move towards the lymphatic system.
